DIELMO3D, in collaboration with YellowScan, E-Copter and Product-Air, ran a full analysis of strategic ENEDIS network locations for maintenance applications and vegetation management using LiDAR & UAV technologies.
The investment in power line maintenance for companies like ENEDIS is huge and involves a high level of responsability. The stage test done in the region of “Vaucluses”, provided a full and high-detailed analysis of the network, ready to be used. Always following ENEDIS safety regulations and requirements, areas detected were automatically filtered and classified into levels of risk and imported into the official ENEDIS database:

This plaform allows to access all the results obtained for their network (infrastructures, risk areas, codes, towers, areas) as well as the visualization and online access of LiDAR & GIS data in 2D and 3D (3D point cloud viewer, measurements, downloads, reports, etc.)
The results obtained in Power line management projects using LiDAR data & imagery from drones or helicopters, are key information for technical analysis and decision makers. However, the lack of good tools or platforms does not allow the right people to make the most out of this valuable information. The consequence is data remains underused or hosted in “silos”.Thanks to Dielmo Server Technology (LiDAR cloud technology) and our custom GeoPortals, all the information and results obtained and analyzed over the years can be accessible at one-click distance.
